  • conduct appropriate searches, including PPSR and social media searches, if your account goes into default
  • comply with legal obligations and assist government or law enforcement enquiries
  • enforce the storage agreement, including recovery of unpaid fees or abandoned goods

3. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose your personal information where reasonably necessary or permitted by law. This may include disclosure to:

  • our employees, including temporary or contracted staff
  • service providers such as IT providers, data storage providers, insurers and financial service providers
  • third parties engaged to perform functions within our business, such as real estate management firms, building contractors, maintenance providers and second hand dealers

By providing personal information about your nominated Alternate Contact Person (ACP), you confirm that:

  • your ACP is aware that you have provided their details
  • your ACP understands that we may use their information in the same way we use your personal information
  • your ACP has the right to access and correct the information we hold about them
  • You must ensure your ACP is aware of these matters before providing their details.

5. Marketing

We may use your contact details to send you marketing material about our services or related entities. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

6. StorerCheck Pty Ltd and TICA Insurances Pty Ltd

We may subscribe to the StorerCheck and TICA systems. By applying to store with us, including when making a website or telephone enquiry, you agree that:

  • We may search these databases for information about you
  • We may communicate with other users of these systems and discuss your information
  • We may refuse or terminate storage if you are listed with StorerCheck or TICA
  • We may release or update your personal information to StorerCheck and TICA, including:
    • your name
    • your current and previous addresses
    • your email address
    • your licence or passport details
    • your date of birth
    • your storage and payment history

Your details may be released to StorerCheck and TICA if you breach the storage agreement or engage in unlawful or threatening behaviour, including but not limited to:

  • failing to pay storage fees
  • dumping or abandoning goods
  • repeated late payments
  • abusive or threatening behaviour
  • involvement of law enforcement regarding your storage activities
  • execution of search warrants relating to you, your storage unit or the facility
  • any other breach of the storage agreement

We may also use the information you provide at any time to update your existing listing on StorerCheck or TICA.

If you do not consent to these terms, you should not apply for storage with us.

7. Security of Information

We store personal information in both hard copy and electronic formats. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

  • firewalls and digital security measures
  • careful selection of third party providers who may handle your information

8. Access to and Correction of Information
